Imagine that you were offered $200,000 a year to live and work in a small town in Alaska. Could the high salary compensate for the intense cold?

I will accept the offer. The high salary could compensate the intense cold. I remember that I had read a research which states that the average lifetime of people who lives in the cold area is longer than who lives in the warm area. If I can get a high salary and live longer than before, why I don't accept the job position.
